El Centro Andaluz de Fotografía (CAF) y el Centro de Divulgación Cultural del Estrecho AL TARAB, convocan en régimen de concurrencia competitiva los premios de fotografía del 2º Certamen PHOTOAFRICA 09’.
La finalidad de la presente convocatoria es la de apoyar y promocionar a fotógrafos del continente africano.
Dotación de tres premios y participación en una exposición colectiva en el 6º Festival de Cine Africano de Tarifa (FCAT 09) del 22 al 31 de Mayo 2009.
Se presenta la siguiente temática para la 2ª edición de este Certamen:
LAS FRONTERAS - interrogación sobres las separaciones geográficas, culturales, sociales y económicas que afectan al mundo actual.

Para facilitar difusion tambien encontrara poster informativo adjunto (o descargar aqui) para imprimir y colocar donde vea conveniente.

Le présent appel cherche à soutenir et à promouvoir les photographes de tout le continent Africain.
Dotation de trois prix et participation à une exposition collective dans le cadre du 6º Festival de Cinéma Africain de Tarifa (FCAT 09) du 22 au 31 mai 2009.

The CAF - Andalusian Centre of Photography and the non-profit organization AL TARAB - Centre for Cultural Diffusion of the Strait announce the 2nd PHOTOAFRICA CONTEST ‘09.
The purpose of this initiative is to support and promote photographers from the African continent.
The contest consists of three prizes and the participation in a group exhibition to be held during the 6th edition of the Tarifa African Film Festival (FCAT '09) from 22 to 31 May 2009.
The photos must investigate the following subject matter:
BORDERS – FRONTIERS, an interrogation on the geographical, social, cultural and economical separations which affect the world today.

To facilitate diffusion of the contest you will also find an informative poster attached to this email (or download here) to print and hang were esteemed appropriate.
The deadline for reception of proposals is 1st March 2009.
